With his creation of Facebook (now Meta Platforms), he significantly impacted the way people interacted and took social interaction from being local to being global and instantaneous. His work has helped to establish it as normal for billions of users to post their thoughts, photos, and life events on the web and contributed to changing modern digital culture.

On the flip side, Zuckerberg’s impact on the world has not always been positive. His career has sparked global conversations regarding such issues as data privacy, misinformation, and the responsibility of platforms for their users’ actions.
